Data Management Consultations

Data management needs are rapidly changing. With grant requirements changing all the time, let the USF Libraries help with the different aspects of data management planning. Visit our web page on data management planning for more information.

DSS Roadshow

Digital Scholarship Services has developed two presentation/workshop tracks focusing on faculty interests in scholarly communication and copyright support. Check out the DSS Roadshow page to review workshop descriptions and to book a session for your faculty group.

Intellectual Property/Copyright Consultations

Our digital environment makes using copyrighted material more complicated than ever.  Your copyright librarian can help you sort through copyright terms, licenses, and exceptions so you can use copyrighted material confidently.  Visit our guide for information online or contact us for a consultation.  Consultations can include:

  • Registration/deposit assistance
  • Creative Commons licensing assistance

Open Access Textbooks and OERs

With Scholar Commons, the USF institutional repository, faculty can host their authored open access textbooks or open education resources. Please view our open access textbook collection to see what has already been included. An example of open education resources are the Digital Pedagogy Resources created by the Department of English Digital Teaching Fellowship Program.

Open Access Journals and Conference Archives

Scholar Commons provides services for hosting open access journals and conference proceedings. These include a robust electronic peer review process as well as archiving and preservation. If you are interested in hosting an open access journal or conference, please fill out the appropriate forms [OA Journals] [Conference].
