Requesting Books and Articles from Other Libraries

Two ways you can get materials:

Check USF Catalog

Please check the USF catalog before requesting materials from outside resources.

UBorrow

For faster delivery of print books from other FL colleges and universities. Search the USF Libraries Catalog under “Statewide Catalog”, click “Check for Available Services” and then “UBorrow Request” under How to Get it.

Following our recent state-mandated migration to the new library catalog system, the 12 state universities are experiencing difficulties with the UBorrow automated notification system. Requestors are not receiving the automatic courtesy email notification that were a feature of the previous system. This means that requestors will need to periodically check their account to determine when the materials have arrived. The staff of the Florida Academic Library Services Cooperative are aware of the problem and are working with the system’s developers to solve the problem. We apologize for this inconvenience.
