Remote/off-campus access to article and book databases is only available to current USF students and employees.

Alumni and Special Borrowers

Alumni, community members, and external researchers have limited access to USF Library services including computer workstations, scanners, and printers for public use.  

Non-affiliated users can borrow materials from USF Libraries’ circulating collections and government documents with a Special Borrower’s card. Special Borrower’s cards do not include access to electronic resources, journals, or databases. Click here for more information and to apply. 

Library Access for the Public

 

Government document access: The USF Tampa library is a designated Government Document repository.  

Wireless access: provided to visitors and guests at all USF Libraries. 

Technology: computers, scanners, printers, and copiers are available for public use at the USF Tampa library. At the USF St. Petersburg library, printer/copier use is available with the assistance of the Student Technology Center (WILL NEED A LINK); short-term computer use is limited to USF alumni who present a current USF Alumni ID card. 

Public Events: USF alumni are welcome to enjoy library events such as faculty lectures, book talks, and more.
